Mandala Life was started through my own journey with yoga, mediation and natural therapies and the deep impact and transformation that has taken place in my own life lead me to a strong desire to want to share the knowledge and experience I have gained along the way.
Mandala is a Sanskrit word meaning circle although it is far more than a simple shape. It represents wholeness. We see that in a Mandala or “circle” there is a point from which a source of energy radiates power. Reconnecting with this source within ourselves allows us to awaken the unconscious self and live our lives with compassion, honesty and integrity.
The Mandala appears in all aspects of life, every cell in our body, for instance is a living mandala, a child within the womb, the iris of our eye, and the celestial circles we call earth, sun and moon as well as conceptual circles of friends, family and community.
Mandala Life is about exploring all the circles around and within you to help connect you to the source within yourself, in today’s society it can be difficult to take time out for ourselves which is why it is important to find something that helps you switch off and nurture the body, mind and spirit and for women there is no better time than pregnancy to turn your attention within.
Through yoga and meditation you strengthen the body, mind and spirit which in turn leads to greater body awareness, a stronger sense of self and a deeper connection to the world around you.
Mandala Life offers a complete circle of care from pregnancy, birth and beyond. I truly believe knowledge is one of the greatest gifts we can be given and as a teacher there is no greater reward than passing on what others have given to you, and so the circle continues…
